What is Quest for the Best?
Quest for the Best is Australia’s richest open mic competition. Winner of the 2012 Quest for the Best grand final on Wednesday December 5 will receive $5000. And the audience decides the winner.
First and second in each of the seven preliminary finals will go on to the Grand Final. Sets are strictly five mins (less is OK) – a bell is rung at four minutes and then again at five minutes to let the comics know they must finish their sets. Open micers can enter Quest for the Best as many times as they want.
