Big Names at the Rox

Some of the biggest names in world comedy have performed at the Rox since we started in 2006.

From America

Chris Rock

In 2008 American superstar Chris Rock made a surprise appearance at the Roxbury, much to the delight of Comedy on the Rox regulars.

Jeff Garcia at the Rox

In 2009 while filming Happy Feet II at Fox studios, Jeff Garcia, the voice of Rinaldo the Penguin, jumped on stage at the Roxbury and did a 30 minute routine.

Eddie Ifft

In 2008 another US big name Eddie Ifft dropped in to try out a new routine.

Shane Mauss

Shane Mauss was another US top liner to drop in to test his material on an Australian audience.

Steve Patterson

Comedy on the Rox’s first international headliner was Canadian Steve Patterson in 2007.

Gina Yashere

The fabulous Gina Yashere has headlined twice at Comedy on the Rox in 2010 and 2011.

One of the biggest names on British TV Russell Howard previewed his Open House show at Comedy on the Rox in September 2011.

Another regular headliner at Comedy on the Rox from the UK is Alexis Dubus.
